This summer, Optimus Prime and his trusted league of Autobots return in "Transformers: Age of Extinction," and one of our favorite muscle cars gets to take part in the action! Director Michael Bay and Executive Producer Steven Spielberg bring back lead transformer, Bumblebee, an Autobot that moonlights as a custom-built Chevy Camaro when he's not fighting evil villains. While he's no longer accompanied by his co-pilot Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), you can still expect the brave, determined and loyal transformer to get caught up in plenty of big blockbuster action and riveting emotional turmoil.

For the latest installment of the film, several Camaros will be featured, including a futuristic concept model, heavily modified vintage '67 SS and two exclusive Camaros that were specifically built for the movie. In addition, Camaro is joined by a couple of its brand mates: a Corvette Stingray that converts into the Autobot's weapons supervisor, Crosshairs, and a special Chevy Sonic Rally Car built under the supervision of GM Design.
Chevy is excited to take part in the series once again, and in addition to providing cars for the movie, several General Motors' locations were used for shooting. "The Transformers movies have been a great partnership for Chevrolet by allowing us to introduce our vehicles to new fans, young and old, around the world. Now for the fourth time, you'll see a Camaro as a heroic Autobot, a fitting role for one of the stars of Chevrolet's lineup," said Chief Marketing Officer for Global Chevrolet, Tim Mahoney.
"Transformers: Age of Extinction" hits theaters nationwide on June 27.
