Midway Collision Center of Phoenix is looking for an all-around Body Shop Technician Helper to help support its growing customer base!

Midway Collision Center has a Senior Management Team that will support you and knows the business well.  They have an excellent working relationship with insurance companies, fleet companies and customers and have spent the last 15 years building a team that works well with each other and is a great place to work. 

We are looking for a Body Shop Helper for our Collision Center. Mechanically inclined, likes staying busy and active, self-motivated, knowledgeable with automotive, body and paint work. Depending on the workload and day, you may also be assisting in the shop or possibly with on-site installations. Bodywork and Paint knowledge are helpful. Responsible for assisting Painter in painting parts after body repair work is complete according to Collision Center guidelines.  We are looking for a hard worker who is also detail-oriented to maintain our high level of quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Can drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
• Assist Painter as needed.
• Applies paint to vehicle parts after repair work is complete.
• Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting.
• Buffs or cleans surfaces after paint dries.
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds
• Assists with performing paint jobs efficiently and according to Collision Center guidelines.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the Company's Core Values
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Professional appearance and work ethic

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Desired Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License and transportation
