    • Comfortable land yacht. Drives smaller than it is.

5.3L offers adequate power and the new independent rear suspension coupled with magnetic ride control provides for the smoothest riding Suburban, too date. New styling is bold and aggressive. Love the look and sound of the split dual exhaust. Interior is much improved over past generation and push/pull button shift is a nice touch that is easy to get used to. The power folding 3 and 2 row seats are a nice touch and sliding second row are a great added feature. The headrests on the 3rd row are a known problem and if you have a 2021 Suburban or Tahoe, you will likely have an issue with one or both of the headrests not staying up. Overall a refreshing and much needed update. Like the inclusion of diesel to the line up, as well.

I have owned two Tahoe SUV's a 2007 & 2011. I purchased my 2021 Suburban which is just a bigger Tahoe in September 2021. I wanted a Tahoe, but the shortage issues put me in a suburban. I loved my 2007- Z71 and let it go at 80,000 miles to buy my 2011-LTZ. Which I still own, and it has 195,000 miles on it. The only problem with my 2011 was a bad Torque converter which I caught very early and saved my Transmission. My 2007 had the same problem and it took out the Trans. All was covered by warranty. The only other issues were a cracking dash which chevy pretty much covered. Other than that, it was just normal maintenance. So, I took the leap and bought another because over all these trucks have been awesome. The key to the mileage is service. I was a mechanic in the Army and service my vehicles early and often. I have been under my new 2021 and it doesn't look as heavy duty as my 2007 or 2011. But it is built the same V8 rear wheel drive on frame. Framed vehicles are much safer and hold up better in my opinion. I have put 5500 miles on the truck and the only issue I have had is the third-row seat belt beauty bracket in the headliner was broken when installed. Other than that, no issues. I believe the quality is there and don't expect any issues after looking it over. What I don't not like about the vehicle is the lack of a key (push button start) and the buttons instead of a shift lever to put the vehicle in drive / reverse. I am keeping my finger crossed but expect this will be problem points later when the vehicle ages. I am hoping for another 200,000 miles out of this truck, time will tell. As far as comfort these trucks are like riding in your living room. I love them.
    • Wow, super upgrades, incredible ride!

OK, so I have owned 2 previous suburbans (2002 & 2013), so the 25 is an amazing upgrade to both of these! First of all, we do a lot of highway miles and the ride is simply amazing! It rides more like a luxury sedan than a truck. Since this is our primary vacation vehicle, we were careful to order 18 inch wheels, as they have a much smoother ride versus the larger ones. I also love all of the new cameras, which is a big help in tight situations. Also, the adaptive cruise control and lane assist make long road trips easier and safer as well. I also love the new exterior design features, particularly the front grill and the aerodynamic wings on either side of the rear window. I'm a bit surprised that those small design features have really updated and enhanced the look so much. The only real disappointment, so far, is the owners manual was really poorly done. Information is difficult to find, nonexistent and they even neglected to put in the required scheduled maintenance requirements (what were they thinking?). Overall, our first impressions on this vehicle have been superb and I would definitely recommend it to others who need a large family/vacation vehicle!
