Driving the record-setting Corvette ZR1 is a twin-turbocharged, 5.5-liter DOHC V8 engine. Chevy rates this powerhouse at an astonishing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. Its flat-plane crankshaft allows a stunning redline of 8,000 rpm. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission channels the power to the rear wheels. The Corvette ZR1 sprints from 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and clocks a quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds.
