What's New for the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

The Chevrolet Corvette has a few changes set for the 2021 model year. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are going to be standard features. There will be a few different options for the digital gauge display setup, and there's a new safety feature included that's called Buckle-to-Drive. When you have a standard automatic transmission, you can't shift from park until you have secured your seatbelt. There's a racing stripe package available that comes in red, orange, blue, or yellow. Interior color options include a new gray and yellow option.

2021 Chevrolet Corvette Trims & Features

You can opt for one of three different trim levels that are available for the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette. This includes the base model 1LT. There is a middle-of-the-road 2LT trim level, and the 3LT includes the most power and standard features. You can choose between a convertible top or a standard coupe top if you go with the 2LT trim level to save some money while getting some extra features. You'll get features included like a head-up display, a Bose sound system with 14 different speakers, a heated steering wheel, heated seats, ventilated seats, and a wireless charging pad.

2021 Chevrolet Corvette Horsepower

Chevrolet has opted to move the engine in the Corvette this year. It's now located right behind the passenger compartment. The standard engine is still a 6.2-liter V8 variety with 470-pound feet of torque and 490 horsepower. There is a Z51 package that you can add to your Corvette that includes an electronic rear differential that is limited slip. You also get upgraded brakes and upgraded tires. The only transmission included in an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic version. There will no longer be a manual transmission offered.

While we're still waiting for safety ratings, the Corvette has a few standard safety features and optional add-ons that you can take advantage of. This includes blind-spot monitoring technology to help you remain aware of what's happening around you when you can't see. A rear cross traffic alert will monitor anything that's passing behind your vehicle, so you don't hit it.
