2021 Chevrolet Equinox

What's New For the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox?

In 2021, most of the changes you'll see apply to the LT trim level, which is now available with a leather package that brings upgraded leather seats and a few added conveniences. There is one less engine for the Equinox this year, which means that all trims are powered by the same four-cylinder engine with a choice of drivetrain on most trims. The Equinox family still has four available trim levels with many standard amenities and an equally extensive list of optional amenities.

What Are the Equinox Trims & Features?

First in line for the Chevy Equinox in 2021 is the L. The features of the L carry over from 2020, but there is no shortage of amenities to enjoy. Heated mirrors and 17-inch alloy wheels shape the L's exterior. Its interior has comfortable seats, multiple USB charging ports, keyless entry, and a height-adjustable driver's seat. This trim's technology includes a touchscreen with a seven-inch screen and a six-speaker sound system. Smartphone pairing is included, and you can play music with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wi-Fi is standard as well.

The LS trim, second in the lineup, adds floor mats in the rear and a spare tire. You can also get a power-adjustable seat for the driver. Stepping up to the third trim, which is the LT, adds an enhanced driver's information screen, satellite radio, and a more detailed exterior with upgraded headlights and more chrome accents. A leather steering wheel, remote start, and dual-zone climate control are offered as upgrades through packages. The LT trim brings the option of leather seats, a larger infotainment screen, navigation, and a 120V power outlet. The Premier trim at the top adds the contents of those packages. You can also choose from more exterior paint colors for this trim level.

Which Safety Features Are Available on the Equinox?

Standard advanced safety technology for the Equinox includes a rear-seat reminder, lane departure mitigation, and forward collision avoidance. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors come with the top trim levels.
