What's New For the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado?

The Chevy Silverado gets some notable updates in 2021. Primarily, its updates focus on its interior, which now has standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for the first time. There are more standard features offered on the Silverado trims as well. Previously, you had the option of getting a standard bed configuration for the Silverado on most trims, but that option has been eliminated on certain trims. The Silverado still has several powertrains available for towing and hauling. It also has a spacious cabin with ample rear legroom and an impressive bed capacity.

2021 Silverado Trims & Features

Eight trims are available for the 2021 Chevy Silverado. The first trim is called the WT. This trim comes with air conditioning and top-notch technology, including a seven-inch display with Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The base sound system has six speakers. The entry-level Silverado also has a sound system with six speakers. Cruise control, tow hooks, and heated mirrors are added on the second trim level. The Custom Trail Boss gets four-wheel drive and an off-road suspension system.

A trailering package is also included. The third trim is called the LT. LED headlights and a larger eight-inch display screen are highlights of this trim level. With the RST, you'll get a power tailgate, in-bed lighting, and remote start capabilities. The Trail Boss upgrades to a V8 engine and a 10-speed transmission. The next trim is the LTX with leather seats, two-zone climate control, trailer brake control, and dual 120V power outlets. Lastly, the High Country adds parking sensors in the front and back, a Bose sound system, and ventilated front seats.

There are heavy-duty variants of the Silverado, the HD series: 2500 HD and 3500 HD, which provides more horsepower and torque if you need more payload and trailering power.
