What's New for the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer?

The Chevy Trailblazer gets some notable updates for the 2022 model year. The Trailblazer adds some new features and amenities for the latest model year, including a roof rack with crossbars for additional exterior storage capacity and a trailering package with a trailering harness, bezel, and trailer hitch. 2022 Trailblazer Trims & Features

Four trims are available for the Trailblazer in the 2022 model year. The Trailblazer family starts with the LS trim level, which accommodates five people and has a standard seven-inch display. Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and Apple CarPlay are all included on the base level, but you can get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. All trims have split-folding rear seats for convenience and over 54 cubic feet in storage. The LT trim level builds on the base trim's amenities with more standard features. The LT has some exterior accents that distinguish it from the other trims, including LED fog lights and roof rails. Tinted windows are added to this trim, which also has heated front seats. A push-button start is also standard. The Activ trim is third in line. It adds different suspension tunings and tires that are more suitable for off-road driving. A black two-tone roof is another highlight of this trim, powered by the stronger 1.3L engine. The RS has red accent stitching and larger alloy wheels. You can add more safety technology to the RS and any trim, along with a panoramic sunroof, rear USB ports, and a wireless phone charging pad.

2022 Chevy Trailblazer Horsepower

The 2022 Trailblazer gives you a choice of two engines. The first engine is a turbo three cylinder with a 1.2L capacity. This engine creates 137 HP and over 160 LB-FT in torque. The base engine has a CVT transmission. The second engine upgrades to a nine-speed automatic transmission, and it provides more power with a total power output of 155 HP. This engine comes with an all-wheel drive.

All trims of the Trailblazer have the same basic set of safety aids, including lane-keep assist, forward collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane departure warning. Automatic high beams are also standard.
