What's New for the 2022 Chevrolet Trax?

In 2022, the efficient engine for the Trax is getting more exciting. It now creates 155-horsepower rather than the 138-horsepower previously seen. That extra power helps the Trax feel engaging and athletic, both in town and on the highway.

2022 Trax Trims & Features

There are two available trim levels for the 2022 Trax. For the base LS, this SUV has features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Drivers also find a 7-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker audio system inside the 2022 Trax LS.

The next option is called the LT. On top of the features found in the LS, the LT gives drivers LED running lights and roof rails. This trim also adds LED running lights and opens up available options, such as heated front seats.

All models of the Trax get a turbocharged 1.4L four-cylinder that makes 155-horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. They also all have a six-speed automatic transmission in common. Front-wheel drive is standard for the LS and LT, although either trim can be upgraded to all-wheel drive.

The 2022 Chevy Trax is available with some of today's most advanced safety features. Options include forward-collision warning and blind-spot monitoring. Rear parking sensors are available on select models as well.
