We're comparing the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado HD vs. LTD to help you decide which of these two trucks is right for you.
Performance
Both vehicles are powered by a 6-liter V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower, but the Silverado HD generates 383 pound-feet of torque while the LTD produces 383 pound-feet of torque. The Silverado HD also has a larger fuel tank with a capacity of 31 gallons compared to the LTD's 23-gallon tank. The Silverado HD and LTD are pretty evenly matched in terms of performance with the same engine. The Silverado HD comes with a 6.6-liter V8 that produces 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque. Appearance
All Silverado HD models include body-colored bumpers, door handles, and mirrors. The grille is blacked out, but you can choose between the standard chrome-accented black grille or an available black-painted grille with a Chevrolet bowtie emblem. The hood scoop on LTZ and High Country models is functional and helps calm the engine. The GMT900 exterior design of the current Silverado HD was introduced in 2007 and shows its age, although it does look sharp when painted black or dark blue.
Features
Both vehicles offer wireless phone charging, but only the Silverado HD offers up to six USB ports, making it easier to charge devices without worrying about tangling cords. The Silverado HD also comes Standard with a Teen Driver system that allows parents to set speed alerts, review driving reports, etc. The LTD does not offer this feature.
