Pink Corvette Stingray Highlights the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign

The Corvette is an icon of American muscle, but its latest color scheme represents compassion and hope. Chevrolet is strengthening its 15-year collaboration with the American Cancer Society by deploying a striking pink Corvette for the NASCAR Cup Series. This vehicle serves as a powerful symbol in the ongoing battle to combat breast cancer.

Chevrolet and the American Cancer Society Combine Forces

Since partnering with the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative 15 years ago, Chevrolet has remained a dedicated ally. The new pink Corvette will act as the official pace vehicle at Martinsville Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, bringing breast cancer awareness to the forefront of motorsports. Chevrolet converts laps into donations: the company will give $500 for every caution lap led by the car (up to $25,000). Team Chevy drivers also play a role, with $1,500 donated for each top-10 finish (up to $25,000). In 2024, this on-track initiative raised nearly $19,000, and the subsequent auction of the pace car generated even more funds for the American Cancer Society.
