This amount matches the highest bid ever for a Barrett-Jackson charity vehicle. In 2022, the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition generated the same sum. Every dollar from the winning bid will be donated to the Red Cross for relief efforts. The key objective is to assist communities nationwide impacted by recent natural disasters, including floods and wildfires.

Chevrolet has announced that it will award $165,000 in scholarships. They are for the 2022 marketing and journalism interns attending HBCUs. The scholarships are part of the automaker's longstanding partnership with the NNPA.
