What's New For the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt?
The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt will see a few changes for the new model year. Now produced in two models, you can get the Bolt EV and a new model called the Bolt EUV. Both electric vehicles have many similar features, including seating for five, a shared powertrain, interior technology, safety features, and customization options. Bolt EUV is a little longer than the EV and can drive for about 250 miles when fully charged. There is new technology, more standard driver assistance, and safety features, and refreshed interior and exterior styling for the Bolt EV.
What Are the Bolt Trims & Features?
Two trims are available on the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV, including the 1LT and 2LT, and the Bolt EUV offers three trims: LT, Premier, and Launch Edition. With the Bolt EV's base 1LT trim, you get wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD rear camera, LED headlamps, and Chevy Safety Assist. The 2LT comes standard with leather-appointed seats and an eight-way power driver seat for increased comfort.
The base trim in the Bolt EUV is the LT. This trim level features an innovative cabin with soft-touch materials giving a premium look and feel. This trim contains a wealth of new tech features, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen with Amazon Alexa integration, wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A WiFi hotspot is available. Leather seats are added to the second trim level, Premier, which also gets an 8-way powered driver's seat. The top trim level, which is the Launch Edition, adds a panoramic sunroof as well, and you can opt for ventilated seats. Drivers enjoy the convenience of using Super Cruise, the semi-autonomous driving system allowing for hands-free driving on specially-designated roads, reducing fatigue and making it easier to operate the vehicle safely.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt Performance
The same electrical powertrain powers the Chevy Bolt EUV and EV. They get power from a single electric motor and a separate battery; the two vehicles get up to 200 HP and about 266 LB-FT in torque. Both models also are front-wheel drive and feature one pedal driving.
2022 Chevrolet Bolt Safety Features
The safety and driver-assistance features offered in the Chevrolet Bolt offer driver confidence and compensate for any mistakes that are made. Lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist alert you if you start to sway out of your lane. When you use the adaptive cruise control feature, the vehicle automatically adjusts its speed to avoid getting too close to other vehicles up ahead.
