Start your engines race car lovers! Chevy recently announced their upcoming role in the global racing circuit for 2022. Their Corvette C8.R will be entered in a number of races this coming year, starting with the United States IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. After performing there, it will move on to the FIA World Endurance Championship. This takes place in various locations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Rounding out the tour, the Corvette will be featured at Le Mans during July.

The kits will use the Chevy Bolt EV components to turn other non-electric Chevy vehicles into electric models. The kit will include an electric motor and a separate 60-kWh battery. Consumers will also get DC/AC inverters, DC/DC converters, and a wiring harness.
